WHERE TO BUY AFFORDABLE RUGS

I was helping a friend source inexpensive rugs for her new apartment when I realized that some of you might like to see what I found. Here are a few of my favorite places to look...

{1} Urban Outfitters for patterned flat-weave options
{2} West Elm for jute area rugs perfect for covering wood floors or layering with smaller options
{3} Lulu & Georgia just launched with a number of unique offerings (I want this doormat
{4} Dash & Albert for basic stripes in every color under the sun
{5} The Land of Nod for great geometric prints worthy of adult attention
{6 & 7} Pottery Barn Teen for patterns and solids perfect for a twenty-something's apartment
{8} Rugs USA for pretty trellis prints in great neutrals

Where have you found affordable rugs? What's the next piece on your decorating wishlist?

P.S. Not redecorating right now? Pin the image above for future reference!

I'm a navy and white girl. I bought the trellis rug from Rugs USA. If you sign up for their e-mails they are always having sales. I got mine for 40% off. I love rug #3 from Luly & Georgia. Emily Henderson posted one that looks almost identical for roughly the same price on OpenSky the other day. I wonder if it is the same one? Check it out here.

This is a perfect post! We're struggling for affordable rugs b/c we have a dog who has a tendency to destroy things. She doesn't chew anymore but her nails have managed to dig holes into our rug of two weeks! Not good!

I will definitely be coming back to this post a lot as we attempt to decorate our home and NOT have it ripped apart!

overstock all the way! overstock is actually one of the first places i look for affordable home decor. i registered for a GORGEOUS chandelier for under $100 on overstock. we had to assemble it, but trust me when i say it was worth it. makes me smile every time i see it.

Great rugs you got there! I love the basic stripes design. It really matches my daughter’s room in carbondale real estate. She loves the color green. I will recommend this site to my friends because they want to change their rags in their houses since last month.

I'm waiting for the turnover of the units I got from one of the holiday apartments in london. I couldn't be more excited in sprucing up the place and this rug is definitely on my priority list.

My friend loves stripes so much, I'm sure she'd appreciate the 4th design if I would give her two for her room! -Jean Raizel
