Last month Gretchen and I signed up for ClassPass and have been breaking up our work day a few times a week to try different fitness classes all over the city. So far we’ve fallen in love with a barre class and a Pilates reformer class but we’ve booked all kinds of new classes to try in the weeks to come! This is in no way sponsored by ClassPass but I just have to say $95/month is pretty reasonable compared to what I paid for a gym membership in New York and the threat of a $20 fine for not showing up holds me accountable. Plus trying out new classes is a serious source of anxiety for me and having a partner-in-crime makes it so much less stressful.
I don’t want to jinx it but this is really the first time in years that I’ve had a consistent workout routine and I’m really excited about it. Even though I’ve been super sore after every class, I feel so encouraged and a little bit stronger every week.
