10 WEDDING-WORTHY WHITE DRESSES

First of all, I want to say a heartfelt thank you for all your wonderful comments and feedback on yesterday’s post. So many of you made me feel less alone and I love getting to connect with you guys on a deeper level. I’m determined to slow down and enjoy the holiday season before we ramp things up in a big way for 2017. Stay tuned!

Next, I know it’s been a while since I did a Wedding Wednesday post and I’m excited to bring them back in full force now that we have less than a year until our wedding. Today I want to talk about wedding dresses: you already know I found my dress a couple months after we got engaged, but the temptation to look at other dresses even though I adore mine is still so real! I do so much online browsing and couldn’t help but peek at the racks of gorgeous wedding dresses when we looked at bridesmaids’ dresses this past weekend. Selfishly I want one of my girlfriends to get married so I can go dress shopping again!

I’ve found it can be dangerous to look at other wedding dresses once you’ve already ordered your own. I had a moment of panic a few months after I found my dress where I saw another dress I love online and frantically emailed my mom and sister asking if they liked that one better than the one I had decided on. Thankfully they talked me off the ledge (and I’m still in love with my dress!) but I know a ton of you are planning your weddings and might benefit from me sharing all the other white dresses that catch my eye.

The dresses in this post are not specifically wedding dresses and in fact some of them might work well for deb balls, graduation parties, and other special occasions. We’re actually doing a white party for our welcome party the night before our wedding where our guests will be the ones wearing white! I did find my wedding dress in a bridal shop but I wouldn’t say it looks super bridal in the traditional sense. My taste tends to be very simple so I would happily skip the bling, lace, and tulle and wear a non-wedding dress to walk down the aisle. I’d love to know whether you’d wear a more fashion-y, less bridal dress on your big day!
