It already seems like so long ago but I still have a couple posts from Bermuda that I want to share! You can read about where we stayed and where we ate in these posts but today I’ll be sharing photos from an afternoon in the town of St. George on the other side of the island. Amy had told me all about the pastel buildings she’d seen on Instagram prior to our trip and obviously when you combine beautiful architecture with ocean views, I’m a happy camper.

We took a taxi from our hotel and got dropped off in King’s Square in the center of St. George and set off to do a little exploring. We were all so in love with all the colorful facades that we decided to film a little Instagram video showcasing them! It’s amazing what an effect color can have on your mood — it makes me wonder how we wound up with so many boring concrete buildings in the U.S. haha.

We also visited St. Peter’s, the oldest continuously used Protestant church in the New World. The church is so charming and there was the loveliest docent who walked us through the church and told us a little more about the history. The church actually reminded me a lot of the church where we’ll be getting married on Nantucket, except that the ceiling features exposed wood beams instead of light gray paint. Seriously, if you’re considering having a destination wedding, I can’t imagine a more beautiful spot!

I was so eager to wear all my new warm weather clothes on this trip that I probably didn’t choose the most practical footwear for our afternoon excursion. That said, these Loeffler Randall espadrilles are quite walkable and didn’t bother me one bit! I’ve always liked the look of pink and red together but I like that these are a fairly subtle take on the color combination and will look great with all my navy and white outfits come summertime. Also I’m obsessed with this Club Monaco bow top — it’s just as cute with skinny jeans and heels for a casual night out.

We did make a stop at the Crystal Caves on our way back to the hotel, which I’ll be sharing in a later post! Anything else you guys want to know about our trip? Happy to answer any questions… and definitely hope I’ll be back to explore more one day!
