COFFEE RUN

I inherited my love of Starbucks from my parents. If my mom starts writing a to do list first thing in the morning, my dad will remind her that nothing happens before coffee. I used to think he was exaggerating, but now as an adult I find I’m the exact same way. Having that first sip of coffee is truly the thing that gets me out of bed in the morning and there are days I definitely wouldn’t get dressed if I weren’t leaving the house to head out for coffee. I’ve been told approximately 1,305,109 times how much money I could save if I started making my own coffee, but I truly enjoy the experience and have genuinely gotten to know several of the baristas (I legitimately miss my favorite Starbucks employees in Dallas!). I’m sure that makes me sound like a total weirdo but I find it’s important to create little routines for myself when I’m working from home.

If you see me at my neighborhood Starbucks, chances are I’ll be wearing some variation of this outfit: striped top, jeans, and booties or flats. I just splurged on these Ferragamo flats after coveting them for-ev-er and they are every bit as perfect as I hoped they would be. They truly take the most boring outfits to the next level! I don’t know what took me so long but you can expect to see a lot of them around here in the months to come. 🙂
