WHERE I FOUND MY BRIDESMAIDS’ DRESSES

Happy Wedding Wednesday! I’ve received a few emails recently from newly engaged readers asking where I found my bridesmaids’ dresses and this week I’m over on Style Me Pretty sharing all my tips! I know it can be really hard to find bridesmaids’ dresses that fit your vision, flatter a variety of figures, and don’t break the bank, so I hope this post offers a little advice and encouragement.

My bridesmaids will be wearing seersucker dresses by Coren Moore that I found at a bridal boutique in my hometown called A Little Something White. I can’t tell you how much I love this store and the owner, Ashley — if you’re in the tristate area, you absolutely must visit! After I snapped an Instagram there a few months ago, I kept getting direct messages saying that some of you found your wedding dresses and bridesmaids’ dresses there too! This was not the first place I looked for bridesmaids’ dresses but it was by far the best organized, least overwhelming, and most in line with my aesthetic.

I’m keeping the exact style of my bridesmaids’ dresses a secret until September, but here are a few pretty photos (snapped by our wedding photographer Cameron Kelly Studio) of a few of my bridesmaids playing dress-up! I’m so thankful that my sister Reilly, cousin Emily, and friends Amy and Carver were able to take the train in from the city for the day. It made such a difference to see the different styles on everyone and make a decision together!

I can’t wait to see my sister, cousins, and girlfriends in the bridesmaids’ dresses I chose in just a few short months! I know I’m beating a dead horse but I really can’t believe how fast our wedding day is approaching. The countdown is on!!!

  1. Please help me find some seersucker light blue in color for 4 bridesmaids.
Also, I would like some information about getting a wedding gown maid with seersucker fabric.
I would like a fuller skirt made!!!
    Thank YOu,

  2. Oh my word I love the seersucker! I wore seersucker to my “8th Grade Farewell” dance years ago and I so wish I had something exactly like it today. It’s timeless!

Soak up every moment! I got married last September and I can’t believe it’s already been 8 months!

  3. I really wish I would have thought about Searsucker as an option when I got married! I kinda thought everybody had to wear those shiny formal dresses. Oh well! This will make for such a classic looking wedding party!

  4. Absolutely LOVE A Little Something White – I got my wedding dress there this past year 🙂 Ashley and her team are the best – I looked forward all my fittings. Totally agree with your recommendation for anyone local to check it out – it was such a wonderful dress shopping experience and I appreciated how they listened to and considered what I was interested in trying on, my budget, and the overall theme/vibe of my wedding, but also gave really helpful advice and input.

  5. I love the idea of seersucker for bridesmaids dresses, and these are so beautiful! (Especially the dress Amy is wearing!) im sure that whatever style your mais wear on the big day is going to be just stunning.
