it’s been too long since i’ve done a desk du jour feature so i thought i’d bring it back with a bang. this space-saving home office and its built-in desk, red and blue wallpaper, and red chippendale chair make me happy. what do you think?

It’s perfect. We had a similar set-up in our flat for years, it wasn’t as pretty, but it was like an extra room.

i am so loving the built in desk idea. and i love that more and more you see wallpaper behind them. i really would like to build one! now i just need the space!
those are my fav color combination… blue and red with the right shade. the painting made the natural toned lamp blend with everything! been looking for that kind of chair…lovely…maryann

Love the space saving advantages of the built in desk. Also, it looks so much cleaner and organized. The red chair gives it a great punch of color! Great photo.
I love that chair too. I think a built in desk is a great idea. especially for those odd spaces in your home. I can’t wait to get a new work space!
