While I appreciate those who can live with asymmetry, this type A personality much prefers symmetrical alignment for frames, furniture, you name it. The graphic impact of a matching frames — be it two or twenty — is so strong that I can’t imagine doing it any other way. How do you prefer your gallery walls?
Love that Vogue wall! My niece did something similar in her dorm… I will have to forward her this photo. xo
i like both! but these pics are perfect 🙂
i definitely need symmetry in my life 🙂
Love both ways, but probably particularly drawn to the symmetrical.
Love your blog! I’m a new follower! Just wanted to say I love the Vogue prints! a hint of feminine but the colors would work with any room, great idea!!
i like a little bit of both. that first image is stunning!
I’m with you on the symmetry! these rooms are lovely – saved some of these photos for inspiration! 🙂
ugh, me too. these are gorgeously pleasing!
Agreed. I balance to a fault.

I love both symmetrical and asymmetrical forms of style. I think I need a little of both in my love to have balance. The images you posted are great!
I like symmetry but I prefer an asymmetrical look more!
Just found your blog today via Lavender and Lillies. Love your blog…I’m a new follower 🙂
Me too!! I fight against it from time to time but symetry always wins!!! It is more of a traditional look I think. It just feels right to me too, Kathysue
I’m with you honey, love symmetry and the frames have to be at least the same colour if not matching. Have a good weekend. ax
