This dreamy bedroom designed by Mary McDonald meets the same requirements as the covetable wardrobe this morning’s style icon, Olivia Palermo. A cream-colored canopy is the ultimate in luxury while inlaid mirrors and hand-painted furniture stick to a sleek and simple palette. Plush carpet and stacked pillows keep the look casual and easy to recreate in your own home. What do you think of the traditional appeal of black and white?

oh and are you snowed in too?
Ah man, just when I thought I was going for color:-)
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
a) biggest crush ever on Olivia Palermo — I’ve never watched The City, but she always looks so polished and chic in photos.
b) LOVE the black and white, though I do think it needs the hint of green from the plants.
Hope you had a lovely holiday!
I am nuts for black and white. If you read my blog you will notice I seem to gravitate toward anything black and white striped or black letters or numbers. I used black and white stripe in my Christmas decor and my signature wrap is black and white stripe. You can not go wrong with a classic! Kathysue
definitely a perfect match for miss olivia. great choice and oh so chic.
I love me some black and white- always chic if done properly. Beautiful photo.
