I rarely post pictures of bathrooms on Design Darling because, well, they’re rarely all that inspiring. This gem from Rue’s third issue is an exception for me. I love the moulding around the window, the clawfoot tub, the pedestal sink, and the ornate mirror above it. And doesn’t the dark tile provide a dramatic alternative to classic white subway tile?

I NEED that bathtub!
Lovely! This bathroom is very close to how I’d decorate my own dream bathroom. Romantic and stunning!
I adore this tub, and how brave to use the dark walls

I LOVE this! It makes me feel like I’m in a romance novel in France during WWII! So amazing!
I love the shiny claws on the tub and love the mirror!!
Stunning! I adore claw foot tubs and that mirror is just lovely!!
I adore this bathroom, especially the tub! It looks so comfortable I could take long, luxurious baths every night. Bathtubs are just not made for comfort anymore, not nearly deep enough and definitely not comfortable to lean against.
Love it! The neutral color palette is so soothing for a bathroom and the mirror is fabulous!
What a gorgeous bathroom! That mirror is totally winning me over!
