What is it with me and super feminine interiors lately? I can’t seem to get my fill. This space by HGTV-featured interior designer Samantha Pynn is tugging at my heartstrings this morning…
{Dark wood floors ground white walls, a capiz chandelier, a white lacquer dining table, and airy striped curtains. I love the large framed sketch as an alternative to a bolder abstract or portrait. And is that chilled champagne I see on the buffet?}
{The adjoining living room is equally delightful. I love the continuity of using the same curtains — although who would want to block out all that natural light? The fact that the combination of white walls and wood floors is so common in rental apartments inspires me to think that my first place need not be boring simply because I won’t be able to paint!}
{An alternate view of the living room reveals that Pynn brought in one of the dining chairs near the fireplace as occasional seating for entertaining. I might have used more colorful shades for the sconces on either side of the fireplace but I can’t take my eyes off the pink chairs — the perfect conversation starter!}

What do you think of this ultra-feminine abode? (And are you sick of all these girly spaces yet?)
I really enjoyed Pynn’s show on HGTV but haven’t seen her on lately…are they still making her show?
I love an ultra-feminine room, those pink chairs are so pretty!
never could get sick of girly spaces! Love this one with the mix of light and dark woods!
I love a little but of pink at the moment – as long as its mixed in with really solid pieces too.
The dining room is killing me!!

Adore Samantha and her style..this space gets me too, I love it! x
Bring on the girly and I don’t think this one is too girly at all. I love that little black side table with the gold details. Where is it from??
Im all about girly spaces….but i try not to overdo it…because i live with someone…and guys dont want an abundance of PINK everywhere. I do STILL add little bits all over the house though…. :))))

Pretty in pink but not overdone- lovely!
I am obsessed with that shell chandelier over the dining room table! Those colors just scream CT, love it!
What a great space! Going straight to my inspiration files…loving these drapes, need more navy blue in my life.
I had a dream last night where I redecorated my entire first floor so I could include blush colored chairs like that! Weird! Haha, but really that color is so beautiful and, I think, liveable. Theres a good room in the April issue of House and Home that uses blush curtains in a similar way.
If this was my house..I would never leave! Beautiful.

The curtains are fantastic. And the room is really enhanced by the beautiful fireplace. I think so often we shy away from white walls, but these rooms prove that they can be wonderful.
She is one of my absolute favourites- I’m hoping to actually be in the same room with her one of these days during some kind of design/blogger/Toronto event. Her style is so gorgeous and I love how she balances feminine/masculine and modern/vintage.
I am totally loving it! I love how she uses pink without overdoing it.
I love it! It’s not sickly sweet, just pretty and feminine 🙂
I saw a similar chandelier in Pottery Barn Kids and have been thinking about purchasing it!
