I expect you’ll all have mixed reviews of today’s post but I’m dying to know where you stand! I think rompers are an adorable alternative to dresses and skirts — and super comfy to boot!
I love this playful halter romper — I want to wear it for the Fourth of July!
This is a more office-appropriate option with a blouse top and striped bottoms. So cute, right?

So would you ever wear a romper? Do chime in!
Rompers have been hit-or-miss with me. But I just love saying the word “romper.”
I picked up a loose navy one from F21 last year, and I really like it with flat gold sandals. Super comfy, but with a pulled together look.
Very cute, but too short for me.
The second outfit is not for most office situations I would think. Again, it’s too short. The office that I work at would for sure take issue with the length of the shorts and the low cut top.
LOVE rompers…as well as jumpsuits…would wear them every day if I could!!
Love the halter romper! Sooooo darn adorable!
The romper takes on a whole new meaning when you call it a “playsuit”. Search that on asos and you’ll be happy you did.
I love the romper look, but feel the look does no flatter curvier shapes like mine.
I am laughing and TDD’s post…you really can’t go with out taking it all off! I do love them though.
i actually thought i hated them. i thought they looked like something a 5 year old would wear but i think it depends on the style. i love my all black one that i got about a year ago.

I keep trying to love them but agree with other posters–cute in theory unless you find the perfect fit/have a specific body type!
I love rompers! I have a cute grey one that I wear quite often in the summer. So simple!

I love em, but how the hell do you go to the bathroom?
i like the romper look but i have yet to find one that i can get away with! they just look really silly on me. i have a shorter body and legs that are 10 miles long… and so maybe it’s just my body!

I’m not a huge fan because I feel like I look disproportionate in them! 🙁
The second is gorgeous and seems the most flattering of the two.
I really do love it but I don’t think it works on me!
I haven’t been big into the romper trend, but I must say that first one is adorable!
I love rompers, but I think they can be really hard to pull off. If you can rock one though, you definitely should.

Fine, I’ll be the voice of dissent. I realize I’m a little older than Mackenzie and maybe most of the other readers (I’m 28), but I just don’t get this trend. Rompers are so infantilizing and rarely flattering.
I will say that I think you’ve picked two of the better looking ones here, but I’m still ready to leave the trend behind. (And I work from home now, so I can wear whatever I want, but I feel obligated to point out that unless you’re in a very creative field with a loose dress code–more power to you and your wardrobe if you are!–that second one is probably not work-appropriate.
But to end on a positive note, Mackenzie, 9 times out of 10 I LOVE what you pick out, and I’m very excited about and impressed by your boutique venture!
I LOVE the second one! I have a romper for the beach which is the only time I’ve ever really sported one. I just have issues with having to take it all off every time I go pee!
Obvs not for me(!) but on you? GREAT!
I love the look but have never been able to find one that fits properly. The torso is usually too long, and the bottom too short!
I love them on other people – but I just can’t seem to like them on me! They’re very cute in theory!
They always look so cute and promising on the hanger – the real trouble starts when I try them on! These two look super cute though! I especially love the stripes on the bottom of the Dolce Vita one.
I think rompers can be really cute! I have a black strapless one with scalloped edges that I love wearing in the summer. These two are adorable!
I like them – I can’t wear them because I suffer from a major case of thunder thighs, but I like them!
Especially the first, it’s like a playful spin on a cocktail dress! love.
Love it!
I always like the way rompers look on other people but I haven’t been able to find one that fits super well. I am still searching though
