One of the tasks on my 101 in 1001 list is to take a calligraphy lesson. Since that’s not exactly in the cards right now, I was absolutely thrilled to stumble upon this tutorial for “faux calligraphy” from Jones Design Company via Pinterest.

I played around with different scripts and I have to say I love the way they turned out! In fact I’m afraid I’ve created a monster 😉 Of course it’s not as good as the real deal but it’ll definitely tide me over… and give me a reason to keep practicing!
This is so fun! I definitely have to give it a try and soon 🙂
Seriously inspired! You did such a great job, and now I can’t wait to try! xo
It looks amazing! I totally want to try now, but I don’t think it’s going to be pretty.

Oh I loove it! going to check out what’s all this about!!
I saw that and wanted to try it. I really like my handwriting so I want to find a way to make it look more like calligraphy. I can’t wait to try it out. yours is beautiful!
Isn’t that tutorial the best? I wrote my to-do list using her tips this weekend, and was unusually productive 🙂 Happy Monday!
I love this!
That is so beautiful! I love pinterest! I could spend all day on there! I love pretty handwriting! I love practicing my handwriting and finding a new script. My boyfriend thinks it is pure foolishness though…he might be right. I think very few people older than 12 practice their handwriting!
I love the way these look..Bravo. Come on by my blog and let me know how you feel about the fashion trend of mullet hems.
How fun is this?! You are very good at it- I think mine would look like a 1st grader tried to do it! 🙂

Absolutely love it!!! Looks real to me 🙂
Gorgeous – that is also on my ‘bucket list’. What is it that draws us to that beautiful lettering? The lines… the swirls… the freedom that the penmanship represents? Thank you so much for sharing… have a marvelous day.
I think it looks fantastic! I am definitely going to check that tutorial out!
pinterest has the best stuff … I think we can all agree on that!
