  1. Totally agree! I’ve seen the bookshelf idea and a friend of mine has done the cieling with a pattern — amazing (though complicated to do!) — and it makes such a striking visual impact.

  2. I totally want a hot pink door! Who cares what the hubs says!

I just started my own blog a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been following yours for a while now and love your blog. I would love it if you took a peek at my blog and, if you like what you see, follow.

  3. Great post! I love an unexpected paint color in an unexpected place- currently I’m loving glass cupboards in kitchens with springy pastels (robins egg blue, seafoam green, the lightest of yellow) painted in the cabinets, reflecting out. Creates such a comfy, cozy kitchen that you want to nestle up in =)

  5. We painted the back of our dining room built ins a chocolate brown to make our white dishes pop- I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it! And we just painted our door a bright blue.

Not sure I’m brave enough yet to paint the ceiling but love how it looks!
