We’ve had what I consider absolutely perfect weather (low 70s, sunshine, a cool breeze) all week and naturally I wish I could spend every waking moment outdoors. When I stumbled upon this garden space designed by Mark D. Sikes (who also pens a fabulous lifestyle blog) I knew it was too good not to share. Climbing ivy, French doors, and more topiaries than I can count? Dear Mark, you’ve created heaven on earth.

I am so jealous! Living in West Texas with water restrictions the thought of an outdoor space like that would be manna from heaven!
Wow! It is really beautiful! I really love the green walls and the container plants. Wow! definitely cool. Wonderful garden indeed.

I want to spend all day in his garden. GORG!!!
Gorgeous!!! My backyard is seriously so embarrassing. Thanks for making me feel even worse, mark d. Sikes. Haha! I actually just discovered him and am obsessed with his blog! Xoxo
i love this! i really want to go there and sit in the sun.
That terracing kills me! It really makes what would have been a much smaller space seem palatial! You know how many people would’ve thrown some ice plant on that hillside and called it a day? So glad the homeowners had the vision (or at least the sense to know Mark would).
Gah, this is amazing. Love the terra cotta pots and mini bushes lining the stairs.

I want to sit in one of those benches and read a book in the backyard! Gorgeous – thanks for sharing.
Can you imagine the parties or the days spent lounging out here? HEAVENLY.
This is what I’d like my backyard to look like. Sadly, we have a metal fence missing a side, weeds, & dead herbs instead.
oh this makes me miss california, a lot.
This is most definitely heaven on earth! Can you imagine having this in your backyard?
gorgeous!
