Every so often I like to revisit this tried-and-true favorite, a Hamptons home designed by the insanely talented Amanda Nisbet. If Design Darling were a room, surely that last room would be it, no? See the full home tour here and the rest of Amanda’s portfolio here. Time for me to pin each of these spaces to my dream home file…
According to John Hayson, it’s really important to visualize your dream home goals. This helps you get more focus on something that you want to achieve.
That house is so beautiful!

Love that you love this…. I love the green room in that house too. Its awesome… you can see it in her new book. I used to work for her so I get to excited when I see Amanda’s work on blogs! Lovely, and soooo Design Darling!
Yay, as Amanda’s book editor, I’m a huge fan of her work. It’s truly inspiring.

That entryway! I DIE!
Love it! I’ve spent so long dreaming about a “dream home” and even though we own a place right now, it was oddly semi-temporary. A fixer upper is in sight and we’re collecting inspiration photos. I’ve made it into a fun blog series, in case you wanted to check it out 🙂 sparklemeetspop.com.

Wow, Amanda’s portfolio is incredible! So many beautiful rooms and stunning details! I didn’t find one that was completely me, but there were lots of elements I loved!

Love that hallway! Is it still called chair railing when it is at eye level! Either way I love it! Especially the textured wall paper above!
Definitely a dream home! Love the entrance and the curved staircase!

Love the long arched hallway!
so you! love the exterior of the home.
love it!
That truly is DD in a room, and I love it! Love her use of multiple smaller pieces instead of just one big piece.
this does seem very YOU! We both have that love of pink and blue don’t we?
I Like how she did three little tables in that last room. Good idea for a small space. (Taking notes for the cottage:)
