Ask and you shall receive! A bunch of you asked about my favorite design and fashion books after I took this picture of my bookshelves on Instagram (and the second here) and I’m more than happy to share. I posted about a few favorites back in this post but my collection has grown leaps and bounds since then and I’m constantly finding new titles that need to find their way to my doorstep. (Take note, gift givers! There are few things I love to receive more than a good book. Unless it’s something monogrammed… But you already knew that.) Without further ado, a few current favorites and a few I’m eager to  add to my shelves:

Do you collect coffee table books? I’m dying to hear your favorites!

  1. I have a lot of the ones you see everywhere but I like to change them seasonally. Most of the year I have Things I Love, the Domino and Design Sponge interior design books, and Jonathan Adler, but around Halloween/fall I bust out the Edward Gorey, Charles Addams and Camille Rose Garcia books!

  2. I miss my coffee table books! Since I’m at college I left all of mine at home on my beautiful white bookshelves and instead my shelves house my collection of school books. My favorites are design and decor books – I need to pick up some more!

  3. Absolutely! Not only are they fun to flip through on a lazy Sufay afternoon, they’re the ultimate decoratin accessory! Al the KW books are on my list right now, and that trench book!

  4. I’ve been collecting coffee table books since I was 14. The first one I received was the giant orange “Grace: 30 Years of Fashion at Vogue.” It arrived with all the Paris shipping marks on the box. From then on, I was obsessed. I really enjoy the hunt of finding rare ones…they almost always appreciate in value. And I love having a story behind every book.

  6. I love coffee table books. That Kate Spade book is at the top of my wish list! I just bought the three volume Vogue set off Amazon – Vogue Living, Vogue Weddings, and The World in Vogue. Best box set ever and an amazing deal to boot!

  7. I’m on a coffee table book kick too! Many of my favorites overlap, but here are some others that I love (I work in weddings/events so a lot are in that genre!):
