As I mentioned in this post, my next 101 in 1001 list is going to feature a few travel goals. It was so fascinating to read your comments on this post about where you’ve traveled and it definitely got me thinking about which cities and countries I’d like to visit next. I’m dying to visit a new continent — South America perhaps?

Have you visited a new place this year? Have a trip in the works? What’s next on your list of must-sees? Let’s compare notes!

Keep up with Design Darling

  1. My husband and I are going to Australia in November. The last time I went was with my parents 13 years ago, so this is my first time as an “adult”. But I think I am more excited to see it through my husband’s eyes, who has never been. Let me know if you want me to try to smuggle you back a koala 😉

  2. I am enjoying exploring my home state of Virginia with long weekends to Charlottesville and Virginia Beach. I’m hoping to make it to the Greenbriar Hotel in the early Fall and then tag along to France on my husband’s business trip in October.

  3. Definitely WANT to go somewhere, but with a new baby coming, probably not happening. I would definitely suggest Buenos Aires, or anywhere in New Zealand. Or Fiji (I have great places that I HIGHLY recommend to stay as well). 🙂 As for me, I’d like to see Thailand, and Morocco and honestly I’ve never been to the south…Savannah is on my list and so is New Orleans. 🙂

  4. I’m heading to East Asia in three days, and I’m very excited/scared! It will be my second time in Asia but a totally different country and culture this time. I’m hating that I’ll miss my friend’s bachelorette in Charleston while I’m gone, but I’m hoping to head there or maybe Hilton Head with some friends before the summer is over. Check out a southern city next! – Charleston, Savannah, etc.

  5. i have so many places i want to visit! i’m trying to get my guy to go to austin this summer because i want to move there. i think i might try to plan an out of the country trip for next year.

  6. I’ve had such a wanderlust bug lately! In part because of all the places my friends are this summer – Thailand, South Africa, London, Croatia, Spain, Copenhagen…I literally have “friends all over the world” at least for the next few weeks. While I don’t think I’ll make it out of the country this summer, I do want to check out Nashville. My dad goes a lot for work and LOVES it.

PS: I got my precious little boxwood in the mail yesterday! Obsessed with it.

  7. the last 4 years I leave Milwaukee and travel for my birthday. First it was Chicago but since I always go there (as it’s only 90 mins from here), I end up in Atlanta last year. This year I’m heading west to Arizona. I’ve never been to that state and the only dessert city I’ve been is Vegas so I cannot wait.
