  1. These are good ideas to start with. But, once you do find an artist whose style you love, don’t be afraid to contact her directly. I usually give discounts to repeat collectors. I’m sure some other artists might as well. Also, if you like the style of a piece, but not the colors, many artists might be willing to make you a custom colored original that doesn’t break the bank. (Full disclosure: I also sell on etsy.)

Art is something that I am not willing to break the bank over just yet especially because who knows what my style will be like when I move in with my husband so prints right now are a great options. Plus if you get tired of it you don’t feel obligated to keep it because of price tag. Great post. Love the prints in your shop

  3. Great post. I’ve been struggling with this for MONTHS for my new office which has WAY WAY WAY too much wall space and it stresses me out. I’m a new attorney, so I just can’t decide how feminine I want it to be…like tons of floral prints next to my diplomas? Tough balance!!!
