OUTFIT {J.CREW MIXED MEDIA SWEATER}

My first sweater purchase for fall? The J.Crew mixed media sweater, in light gray merino and cotton with a blue and white striped shirting back. It’s an unexpected combination that I’m loving for this unexpectedly fall-like weather and that I’ll have in heavy rotation for the next few months. White jeans now, blue jeans later… It’s my kind of wardrobe staple.

J.Crew mixed media sweater ($98 $66 with code ALMOSTFALL)  //  KEP Designs anchor bangle c/o ($150)  //  Clare Viver foldover clutch ($198), also love this one  //  Old Navy white jeans ($15)  //  Alice + Olivia Dina heels (old, still available in black and olive green)

I love the little peek of stripes on the shoulders! How would you style this sweater?

  1. Love this look 🙂 The J Crew new arrivals are so nice I wish I could get them all! Just did a post on my favourites on the blog actually!

    Shame in London it’s a lot more expensive than in the US!

    Love the shoes so much 🙂 Such a nice colour!

  2. That is such a cute sweater. I love tops that have a different back from the front…I’ve got a few already but I would love to add this one to my closet. Love it with white jeans and blue jeans (pretty much all I wear, so that narrows down the options, haha).

  3. As a fellow petite lady, how does the sweater run sizing-wise? I’ve been eyeing it for a few weeks, and seeing you style it makes me want to take the leap!

  4. I saw this sweater in stores and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. But seeing you style it Mackenzie definitely makes me reconsider! Also that clutch is too cute. I have always shied away from clutches since I always liked the convenience of having a strap, but I think it’s time to take the plunge and invest in a clutch!

  5. I wish you had more pictures of the back- that sweater is so cool and the back is unexpected. Perfect for transitioning into fall!

  6. I just wanted to leave you a comment to say that I have really been loving your blog lately! Your content has been really interesting and relatable. I love the mix you have going on here of more expensive pieces with more affordable ones. I am loving the sweater and how you styled it.
