If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that I just made my first shoe purchase for fall. (Sign up for Like To Know It to be able to shop my Instagrams!) I’ve been coveting these since this post (you know it’s a good investment when you still like them almost a year later…) and, though they’re a little outside my comfort zone, I knew they were a keeper the moment I pulled them out of the box. Now welcoming to my closet Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots!

Navy Over The Knee Boots

There’s no more sound investment for fall than an awesome pair of boots. My riding boots from last fall are still in good shape so I decided to splurge on these over-the-knee boots in navy blue suede! If you’re looking to add to your fall boot collection, there’s really no better place to look than Nordstrom. They carry everything from Frye to Steve Madden, Tory Burch to Vince Camuto. And you can’t go wrong with free shipping and returns!

Design Darling Over The Knee Boots

As you’ve probably noticed, I live in dark wash skinny jeans all year round so the navy suede boots were a leg-lengthening no-brainer. (If you rarely find yourself in navy blue, who are you? these also come in black!)

5050 Boots Nice Blue

They’re the perfect boot for fashion week because they make my legs look a little longer — without a high heel. The flat sole makes them super walkable without sacrificing style. Remind me why I didn’t buy these sooner?!

J.Crew Tipped Blazer

I styled the boots with a preppy blazer-and-oxford combo but a sweater like this one or this will be perfect with them once it really cools down in the city.

      1. I am torn between the nice blue and the olive, which I feel like would be more versatile. I already have them in the black leather. Do you find you can wear the nice blue with a lot of different options?

  1. Oh mine what an inspiration about how to wear those gorgeous navy OTK boots! I really want to get the same pair but I have been struggling to make it work with different outfits. THank you so much for sharing! Can you try this pair with more outfit options? 🙂 Looking forward to your future posts!! XO

  2. I just ordered these boots – I love blue everything. Other than the ideas formulated in my mindI have been searching for pics to see styiling interpretations and this is the only one I could find. I love everything about your outfit. You are adorable and I am so glad I stumbled onto your blog. Look forward to following. Thank you!

  3. i have these boots in black leather and absolutely love how you styled these… i might need to trade mine in for navy suede now!

  4. You got them! Yay!! I still love my grey ones…although they won’t be making an appearance for a month or so – it’s still in the high 90s in Dallas! Ready for fall to arrive!

  5. so just to clarify – the post is sponsored by nordstrom but the boots aren’t c/o? also there are like 3 typos/errors in your outfit links…

    1. Correct. Nordstrom does not gift product. “Sponsored” denotes payment several weeks after the post goes live. I went back and double checked the links but please let me know if you catch anything else — I hate when that happens!
