I wore this outfit on the flight to Charleston with d’Orsay flats and loved the combination of a cozy fall sweater with white jeans. While we were in Charleston, we popped into Hampden Clothing, an insanely chic boutique on King Street that carries designers like A.L.C., Tibi, and Theory. We had gotten an opportunity to chat with the owner, Stacy Smallwood, at a cocktail party the night before and I was super impressed with her business savvy and sense of style. Her shop definitely did not disappoint — if you’re in Charleston or just looking for a fun new spot to shop online, Hampden gets two thumbs up. That’s where I picked out these Loeffler Randall booties, which make this look more appropriate for New York weather (though I’d kill to be back in Charleston…).

  1. Who says you can’t wear white in the fall/winter? Love how you styled the outfit. I wore white jeans and a cream colored waffle-knit sweater with brown leather ankle boots last Sunday – I may need to repeat that outfit again. Kicking myself for not visiting Hampden when I was in Charleston!

  2. I’m going back and forth between grey and navy and black and white. I have this sweater in navy and white and am just waiting for it to get cool enough in Arizona to wear!
