OUTFIT: BURBERRY TRENCH AND GOLD HEELS

I know what you’re thinking: a Burberry trench and heels in this weather?! But sadly these photos are a throwback to a whopping week and a half ago when the sidewalks weren’t covered in sheets of ice and the idea of stepping out in a trench coat and shiny gold heels for a double date wasn’t completely psychotic. Of course now that feels like an eternity ago and I’m counting down the days until the temperature breaks 40 degrees again.

Have you had crazy weather where you live? I’m definitely having trouble getting motivated to do anything that requires leaving my apartment (even in my puffiest puffer coat) when I can see sideways sleet from my windows! Anyone having the same problem? Any brilliant words of wisdom to share? I’d love to hear how you fight off the winter blues. Besides a big navy bow, of course…burberry trench coatgold mirrored pumps

  17. Those gray, gray New York February days can be the worst. I survived them back when we lived there with lots of cheerful music and coffee and turning on all the lights up. Slow, mellow, and melancholy mood items got ejected, at least for the month of February!

    And I love that BaubleBar necklace! I’ve been looking for good dress-up dress-down statement necklace for a while and that just might have to be it!

  19. I love those gold heels! Such a pretty shine. The weather has been tough lately, the only thing that’s worked for me is bundling up head to toe and just making sure my hood is up and secure so that wind isn’t blowing right onto my head! Plus at least when the weather is tough, places are less crowded 🙂

  20. I love the green paired with the navy! Gorgeous color combo. I’m sad the weather is not currently like this. I love my Bean boots, but having to wear them every day because of the weather is depressing. Have a great day!
