If there’s one thing I’ve learned in three years of running a small business, it’s how important it is to surround yourself with people, places, and things that inspire you. It’s funny how a dinner with fellow entrepreneurs or a weekend trip can make me see my business obstacles in a totally new light. Similarly, I find that working from a clean desk and pretty home office is paramount for keeping me inspired and productive. Here are a few home offices I love followed by 25 pieces to help you spruce up your own workspace!

Having a clean work space – with all of my papers organized by projects helps a lot! A fresh bouquet of flowers and candle is always a must.

Hi Mackenzie,
So excited, I just made my first purchase from your absolutely amazing online shop. I just started my new job last Monday as a probation officer for adults in Boston. When I saw my desk space I thought, “I’ve got to make this my own”. So I’ve been on pinterest just trying to finalize my look that I want. The purchases today will start the process. I read your anniversary post and you sound so happy and passionate to be doing what you love. Just know what a blessing you are to those of us who may work in the dark side of life but need those beautiful touches to surround us amongst the family pics, to create a space that we enjoy coming to work for. Can’t wait until my space is complete. Although I have a feeling these “spaces” are never really finished!!
Have an awesome week, Julie
Julie, thank you so much! You absolutely made my day and I hope you love your new goodies!
Perfect timing! I’m on the hunt for the perfect desk chair!

I really need to work on cleaning up my desk for the spring. In the winter I just let everything clutter together because the cold does not put me in the mood to care about desk organization. Thanks for sharing the inspiration!

So glad to hear I’m not the only one seriously affected by the cold weather! Less than 20 days until the first day of spring! 😉
All of these work spaces are so beautiful! I could definitely stand to spruce up my work area…

How do you keep your work space organized? I have so much trouble with that! I have really cute desk things, but then it’s just papers everywhere!
I file everything away so there are no papers taking over my desktop! I have this acrylic file box and love it:

Love all your ideas as always! That dining table is amazing and we have it in our kitchen by our banquette. Highly recommend! : -)
Love your 25 shopping pics.. those colour pop lamps are fab and I always have my Smythson pad with me #handy
Ah, I love those workspaces. I am in the process of re-doing my office just to my liking, yet I always tend to end up with my laptop on the kitchen table. These photos are inspiring me to do otherwise!
