What’s better than a walk-up coffee window? Answer: nothing. Local Press + Brew opened in Dallas last month and it’s such a cute spot for meeting a friend or pulling out your laptop. I wish it were closer to our neck of the woods so I could make it a daily pit stop but I’m so glad we decided to check it out one morning. I couldn’t end this post without sharing my latest scalloped obsession: this Lilly Pulitzer skort. You already know I’m loving all things Lilly this season but this particular skirt is so me it took no convincing to add it to my cart. It looks like a short skirt from the front but the shorts underneath make it such an easy everyday piece. I’ve worn it with espadrilles to dinner with Will and with Converse sneakers to chase Rory around at the park. If, like me, you find dresses and skirts a little high maintenance, this is a super casual option that’s just as easy to wear as my preferred skinny jeans.
