OFFICE GALLERY WALL WITH FRAMEBRIDGE

It’s hard to believe it’s been five months since we moved to Dallas. So much has changed in so little time! I love getting up and driving to the office every day because it means that our house isn’t full of inventory and shipping supplies. But I’m definitely guilting of focusing on decorating our house and not putting nearly enough thought into how I want the office to look. Now that we’re gearing up to host a fall shopping night in our new digs (stay tuned, Dallasites!) I’m getting excited to make our office feel like a true embodiment of the Design Darling aesthetic.

Whether you’re decorating an apartment, a house, or an office, I think art is one of the easiest ways to decorate with the most bang for your buck. Luckily, we’ve been seriously stocking the art selection at Design Darling so we had plenty to choose from! I’ve always been drawn to plain white frames that let the art do the talking and was thrilled when Framebridge offered to send me a few samples to get our office feeling more like a home away from home. It wasn’t long before I zeroed in on their Irvine Slim frames and I couldn’t be happier with the way they turned out!

I admittedly assumed that working with Framebridge would be like ordering from any other framing site (which I’ve had seriously mixed experiences with in the past). But there are a few key differences that make Framebridge stand out from the pack. First, you can upload images of your artwork to their site and preview it in a variety of frame styles. Second, they provide packaging so you can mail them your paintings or prints and let them do the rest. Third, they take the guesswork out of hanging supplies by adding hanging wire to the back of each piece and enclosing an envelope with a simple nail and hook. Will helped me hang them this past weekend and said it was the easiest home improvement project we’ve ever tackled together… There have been quite a few in the past several months so I’ll take it!

One more thing I wanted to point out: Framebridge provides framing completely customized to your artwork, but you order based on the size of each piece. For example, the small frame fits artwork up to 9″ x 12″, the medium up to 16″ x 20″, and so on. While I framed all 8″ x 10″ prints for a streamlined look, this would be a seriously helpful resource for hard-to-frame prints in nontraditional sizes. A few similar frames if you like the way mine turned out: the Irvine (thicker version of these), the Mercer Slim (same frame in black), and the Carson (a clean gold version). If you want something a little more statement-making, I love this burlwood frame, this gold bamboo option, and this mirrored one.
