OUTFIT: WHITE BOW TOP

Will and I had the best time in Palm Springs. It was even more beautiful than I’d expected! I was a little worried about the weather as it’s been unseasonably “cold” there this winter. From the moment we landed at the Palm Springs airport, it was 75 degrees and sunny. In fact, the majority of the airport is outdoors and our waiter at Spencer’s told us they get fewer than five days of rain each year. We ate nearly every meal outside and it felt so good to soak up the sunshine!

We packed Barbour jackets just in case it got chilly at night but I wound up wearing all of my new warm weather purchases. We hit up a ton of your Palm Springs recommendations which were beyond helpful in mapping out our long weekend there. I definitely took enough photos to merit a Palm Springs city guide so stay tuned for that in the next couple weeks!

We stayed at the Avalon Hotel and it did not disappoint. There are three pools on the property, killer design details throughout, and it’s centrally located within walking distance of nearly every restaurant we tried on this trip. I would definitely stay there again on our next trip!

P.S. My friend Amy convinced me to finally try a spray tan before our trip and I was so in love with the results! I had them skip my face and only do one coat on my body which gave me just the right amount of color while still looking like myself. That said, I was definitely a little streaky on my hands and feet (despite following all the instructions I thought?!) so I feel like my feet match the orange doors in this post. 🙂 Oh well!
