On our last day in Palm Springs, Will and I were leaving lunch and happened to drive by a mini golf course. Having last played during our trip to Austin almost two years ago, we couldn’t help but pull over and play! I’ll point out that I got a hole-in-one and won the game the last time we played so I was pretty eager to defend my winning record. I shared the glory a couple weeks ago on Snapchat (@designdarling if you’re so inclined) but long story short, we tied and will be needing another rematch in Dallas sometime soon.

In any event, the mini golf game was a completely spontaneous little detour and therefore I was rather inappropriately dressed for it. But I was dressed and we had my camera so here are a few pictures anyway… There are a couple super affordable finds so scroll down to the bottom of the post for links to everything!

top (only $25, I also picked up this)  //  white jeans  //  sandals (under $100)

While I didn’t win the game, I did make it through 18 holes without spraining my ankle in these heels, so that’s still a win in my book.

  1. Thanks for sharing your date with your partner at a mini golf course. I laughed when you said you weren’t dressed appropriately for golfing when I saw that you were wearing high heels. It’s a good thing, however, that you weren’t stilettos or that would’ve been a disaster. I think the more appropriate footwear would’ve been white tennis shoes.

  2. I think playing mini golf for a date is a great idea. My boyfriend and I have been talking about it for a while, but I think we’ll go with my parents next weekend. Your outfit is adorable, but I can imagine how heels could cause you to tie instead of win the mini golf game. Great post!
