MDS Stripes. I love following this clothing brand on Instagram and recently splurged on their striped crisscross ball gown during the Shopbop friends and family sale (today’s your last chance to order everything at 25% off). It arrived yesterday and I was practically giddy twirling around in it. I instantly sent pictures to my mom, bestie Amy, and cousin Emily and it sounds like we have a unanimous winner for my rehearsal dinner dress (!!!). It combines the fabric of an oxford shirt with the fit of an evening gown… kind of insane and totally worth it. Now of course I want to add this, this, and this to my closet as well.

Digit. Digit is an app/website that automatically transfers funds to your saving account every few days. If it weren’t for their convenient text reminders, I truly wouldn’t know the money had left my checking account. I’ve been using this for a couple months now and it’s been fun to watch my savings grow — without the pain of transferring any money myself.

Monogrammed straw beach basket. I’m kicking myself for not discovering this Etsy shop before my trip to Palm Beach last weekend because I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more perfect beach bag in my life. They’re currently backordered until May but with my love of all things monogrammed and seemingly endless color combinations to choose from, it’s safe to say I’m more than willing to wait.

Last Week Tonight. I don’t know if we’ve been living under a rock but Will and I are newly obsessed with this HBO show hosted by John Oliver. I find it extremely educational on current events (typically one deep dive into a particular subject as opposed to random headlines) and there are often times where I have tears running down my face from laughing so hard at a given segment. We were lucky to catch Jon Stewart live during his final season — if you miss The Daily Show, this one is a must see.

Trina Turk’s new arrivals. I actually don’t think I own a single piece of Trina Turk clothing despite admiring her aesthetic for several years. I’m thinking it’s high time to remedy this, especially with all the new goodies I’ve spotted on Nordstrom recently. Say hello to the chicest jumpsuit, prettiest striped shift, and throw-on-with-anything-and-instantly-feel-more-put-together silk top.

  1. Just pointing out that the Daily Show is still on TV lol. Its just on its third or so host (can’t remember the guy John Stewart replaced…)

But love the back of your dress! So cute,

  2. Those monogram totes are so cute! My mom and I actually stumbled upon a shop in Palm Beach (Lindroth Designs- right next to the Surfside Diner) that make similar ones and I’ve been dying to order ever since! Though the more I see them, the more I’m actually tempted to DIY one too! 😉

  3. 1) UGH that dress. I need it but I just can’t afford it right now :'(
    2) I’m sure someone else might’ve already made this suggestion but if you like digit you might want to try acorns which works similarly and but it invests the money instead so you can watch your savings multiply! I haven’t used it myself as I don’t live in the US anymore but I’ve heard good things 🙂
