OUTFIT: J.CREW FRINGY TWEED JACKET

I know I can’t be the only one who’s done serious damage at J.Crew recently. This striped bow top, this to-die-for blazer, my favorite striped shirts, this poplin off-the-shoulder top… Their classics-with-a-twist are totally back and it seems I’m first in line to scoop them all up!

I definitely had a “love at first sight” moment with this fringy tweed jacket. I love the faintly nautical vibe of the red, off-white, and blue color palette and knew it would be right at home in my largely blue and white closet. I’m usually not a big fan of the color red (I feel like with red hair, it’s just not meant to be) but it’s just right in the trim of this jacket. And one thing I love about J.Crew blazers is there’s usually a surprise contrast lining that takes each piece to the next level — the blue and white interior stripe here is what made this more of a “have to have” than a simple “want” for my wardrobe.

KJL pearl studs  //  Kate Spade cat eye sunglasses (also available here)

Clare V. clutch (also love this one)  //  J.Crew bow-tie pumps

By the way, if you’ve been eyeing these J.Crew bow-tie pumps that I also wore in this post, they just went on sale and you can score an additional 25% off with code SUMMER (make that 30% if you have a J.Crew credit card). I’ve already worn them more than a dozen times since I ordered them so I couldn’t recommend them more highly!
