I’ve been meaning to share these pineapple sandals with you for the longest time! I preordered them the second they were introduced on Lilly’s site and now they’re finally here and even cuter than I’d expected. From the front they look like a simple gold sandal but from the back you can see the adorable pineapple detail. Genius.
It’s been hot hot hot here in Dallas and off-the-shoulder tops have been my favorite way to beat the heat this summer. This one is from Tuckernuck — anyone else think they are just killing it this season? — and offers a pretty preppy take on the off-the-shoulder trend. Tucked into a pair of pleated navy shorts, it’s an easy look for summer that works just as well in the Dallas heat as it will on a sailboat in Nantucket in a few short weeks!
off-the-shoulder top // pleated shorts // pineapple sandals
cat eye sunnies // wicker clutch
By the way, if you’re in Dallas (or planning a visit soon!), you must swing by Trinity Groves, a relatively new development just over the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge full of cool restaurants and cute storefronts like this one at Cake Bar. If you’re like me and can’t turn down a sweet treat even when the temperature’s approaching 100 degrees, the red velvet is to die for (summer diets be damned).

agree that these sandals are stinking cute – but real talk, do they itch your heels? i’ve wondered that since they hit the site and have avoided buying ever since! tell me if those pineapple leaves itch your heels!
Not at all! Someone on Instagram asked how comfortable they are and I’ll say the same thing here: 10/10. The pineapple leaves don’t hit the back of your ankle (unless maybe you made the ankle strap SUPER tight) when you walk so they feel like any other flat sandal. Hope that helps!
This is way too cute! Perfect for summer!
