SUMMER STAPLES

I’ve worked the last couple weekends to prepare for lots of travel in the weeks to come but this weekend I’m hoping to squeeze in a little fun! We’re headed out to the lake tomorrow so fingers crossed we’ll get to take Rory on a boat ride — it’s his new favorite thing and he runs straight to the boat when we pull up to the house.

I’ve been doing a good amount of summer shopping in preparation for all our upcoming trips and as always wanted to share a few of my finds! I live in rompers whether I’m in Dallas or on Nantucket — loving this one pictured below as well as this, this, and this. And I love big floppy hats for sun protection on the beach or the boat and I’m sure you’ve been noticing a lot of sunhats with writing on them popping up this year! Designer Eugenia Kim started the trend several seasons ago but this summer you can score more affordable lookalikes here and here. Let me know some of your summer staples in the comments!
