I don’t think I’ve had an inspiration board since my bedroom during my senior year at Bucknell but lately I’ve found myself dog-earing magazine pages and saving little odds and ends that would all be perfect for pinning somewhere in my office. Don’t get me wrong, I love love love Pinterest, but there’s something nice about saving inspiration the old-fashioned way. Here are a ton of inspiration boards that have caught my eye recently (all saved, ironically, on my Pinterest). It seems like having an inspiration board is a rite of passage for just about every creative type!

If you too love the idea of an inspiration board, I poked around and found a few bulletin boards that would be a pretty place to start. Of course you could use any bulletin board you have on hand but I love the idea of a bulletin board with a white frame or a more sophisticated linen bulletin board. If I decide to take this on, is this something you’d be interested in seeing? Let me know in the comments!

I love these. I would definitely be interested in this if you decide to do a board. I’d like to do one right along with you, step by step, because I would not know how to start.
I am so in love with the blue board!

i’ve been thinking i need a board lately! another tip, if you want a custom look, is to “upholster” a large painting canvas. my mom used to make them for me: pick the fabric you want (i’ve been thinking navy linen), buy some stuffing and place a thin layer of it on the front side of the canvas, and then staple gun the fabric taught around the back of the canvas.
Genius!
