20 FINDS TO STEP UP YOUR WORKOUT STYLE

Will and I have been working out with a personal trainer 2-3 times a week since January and while I definitely feel like I’m in better shape, I’m thinking about branching out and trying a few different types of workouts to keep things interesting. There’s a pilates studio near our house that I loved going to when I did Class Pass and there’s also a popup Tracy Anderson studio in Highland Park Village that my friend Amy has been raving about!

I always get a little anxious about trying a new workout but it’s amazing how much more confident I feel after ten months of consistently working out — especially when I dress the part with cute gym clothes. I got extra inspired this week after ordering a few pieces from the New Balance for J.Crew collaboration (the sports bras didn’t fit me quite right but I love this top and these leggings!). A new-to-me brand called Outdoor Voices also sent me this awesome sports bra and these navy leggings which seriously suck everything in and look so cute together. If you’re looking to up your workout style, here are 25 adorable pieces you’ll want to wear to the gym and beyond:

Any other workout clothing lines you’re loving lately? I’d love to hear!

  1. The new stuff for JCrew is so cute!! Fabletics leggings do a great job sucking you in, and I also love Zella. Lululemon is a good go to for pieces you know you’ll wear constantly, like a great basic black — they last for years so are worth the money in my opinion!

  2. They have such cute items! I am a Lululemon addict and have always found their gear the best for work outs and yoga (which I never seen to get enough time to practice, I love yoga!) xx Rox-Anne, Celebratingthislife.ca

  3. Old Navy is my tried and true for workout clothes! They really stepped up the games and the deals are too good to not get a ton!

  4. My Athleta leggings are my absolute favorite for working out. They are perfectly high-waisted to keep everything covered while performing various exercises and also keep everything sucked in. They always have good patters and colors too!

  5. Is it weird that I’d love that navy scalloped sports bra as a swimsuit? So cute. My workout wardrobe could use a serious, serious refresh. I’ve been wearing the same black, cropped compression leggings from Old Navy for years and they’ve held up great! I could use some color 🙂
