I can’t believe how fantastic the weather has been in Dallas lately — 75 degrees and sunny practically every day! I hope this outfit isn’t too tortuous for those of you living in cooler climes. 😉 We spent the weekend in Sea Island, Georgia, celebrating our friend Zach’s birthday, eating amazing seafood at every meal, and cruising around on bikes and in golf carts during the day. I remarked at one point that Sea Island feels a little like the Nantucket of the south… it’s no wonder I loved it so much!

The three other couples we traveled with have been married for three years, three months, and one month respectively so it was fun to pick their brains on wedding planning, honeymoons, etc. I can’t believe we are less than ten months out from our big day! I know once we hit 2017 it will all go by lightning fast. This weekend was a great reminder of how excited we are to celebrate with all our favorite people in our favorite place!

Will gave me this Tory Sport sweater for my birthday this year (probably as a not-so-subtle hint to take up tennis lessons) and I love the fabric and fit so much I recently added two more to my closet. Oops! This one pairs perfectly with a flouncy Milly skirt that I picked up during a recent Shopbop sale — somehow I didn’t have a single gray skirt in my wardrobe and I love anything with a drop waist.
