I’m heading to Bermuda this weekend with my friend Amy and my brother Grayson and we’re excited to do some exploring and take lots of pictures! I’ve never been before (even though my parents honeymooned there thirty years ago!) so I can’t wait to see it. If you have any recommendations, please share in the comments!
The weather is supposed to be a lot like Sea Island this past weekend (high 60s to low 70s, cooler at night) which means I’ll be packing lots of sweaters and white jeans. You’ve already seen a few of my favorite sweaters this season here, here, and here but I wanted to round up a bunch that are budget-friendly whether you’re braving the cold in New England or throwing on light layers down south. I’ll be heading straight from Bermuda to Rhode Island for Thanksgiving with my dad’s side of the family so I’m packing for both trips at the same time! Nordstrom always has the best selection of cozy sweaters and the best part is these are all under $150 (many under $100)…

This striped turtleneck would be so cute with white jeans or layered underneath a Barbour jacket and this one has a loose fit perfect for Thanksgiving dinner.

Hi Mackenzie,
I just read through the comments…Sarah really had a comprehensive list! I wish I had that list when I went in September this year, lol. This was our second time going to Bermuda, both for anniversaries. We stayed at same place Farmount South Hampton both times. I was going to ask where you were staying? If you go to the FSH, be sure to ask where the Light House is — a short walk away — where you can see amazing views from the top. Also nearby is Horse Shoe Bay which is a must see in my opinion! We also took cab to Elbow Beach Resort which I loved! We didn’t eat at Micky’s (on the sand dining) but instead ate at the tappas restaurant (forget name?) at a window seat overlooking the beach which was perfect. Later, the night life at Elbow Beach was so fun. Live band, local color, and great cocktails. A friend of mine recently went on her anniversary to The Reefs and said she loved it although sadly it rained the entire weekend for her:( They ate dinner at the WaterLot (shuttle from FSH) and raved about it. My husband and I usually go to Nantucket for our anniversary, so this year was a bit different. I think you will love Bermuda! Look forward to your post about it….Enjoy!
Thank you so much for your recs! We are staying at the Hamilton Princess. I’ll report back! 🙂
Love number 5!!
