Ali took these photos for me a few weeks ago before it got cold in Dallas but I like the outfit too much not to share! (We just shot a bunch more looks yesterday so I promise next week’s posts will be more seasonally appropriate!) I’m having a moment with nautical gold button details, as you may recall from this post in Bermuda, and this striped sweater fits in perfectly with my growing collection. I paired it with an affordable faux suede skirt and chestnut suede booties that are surprisingly comfortable and also won’t break the bank.

It’s funny… Ever since I started getting spray tans (usually before a trip; I talk about my first one in this post!) I always notice how pale I am in pictures when I don’t have one. I try to avoid too much time in the sun given my fair coloring but I love the bronze glow I get from the faux version! I know some girls feel naked when their nails aren’t done… Are there any beauty treatments you feel like you can’t live without?

  1. I actually have a spray tan membership and go once a week! I’m also very fair and after wising up to the dangers of a tanning bed, I jumped on the airbrushed bandwagon. I sometimes get wear marks from sports bras during Pure Barre but it beats having people ask if I’m not feeling well because I’m Irish.

  2. I love spray tans, but reserve them for special occasions because they always look so funny after working out – talk about ridiculous “tan” lines. If there was a totally sweat proof one, I would probably get them all the time!
