I inherited my love of Starbucks from my parents. If my mom starts writing a to do list first thing in the morning, my dad will remind her that nothing happens before coffee. I used to think he was exaggerating, but now as an adult I find I’m the exact same way. Having that first sip of coffee is truly the thing that gets me out of bed in the morning and there are days I definitely wouldn’t get dressed if I weren’t leaving the house to head out for coffee. I’ve been told approximately 1,305,109 times how much money I could save if I started making my own coffee, but I truly enjoy the experience and have genuinely gotten to know several of the baristas (I legitimately miss my favorite Starbucks employees in Dallas!). I’m sure that makes me sound like a total weirdo but I find it’s important to create little routines for myself when I’m working from home.
If you see me at my neighborhood Starbucks, chances are I’ll be wearing some variation of this outfit: striped top, jeans, and booties or flats. I just splurged on these Ferragamo flats after coveting them for-ev-er and they are every bit as perfect as I hoped they would be. They truly take the most boring outfits to the next level! I don’t know what took me so long but you can expect to see a lot of them around here in the months to come. 🙂

I still remember my first pair of Ferragamo’s! I won’t say when and date myself. Cute casual outfit!
This outfit is so cute, Mackenzie! I love your sweater and those flats are swoon-worthy!

If you haven’t already, be sure and get rubber soles put on the bottoms of your Ferragamo flats. It makes them even more comfortable and they’re much better in the rain. II basically get rubber soles put on all shoes I wear regularly now.
Will do! Thanks for the tip!
I love the flats! Are the comfortable? I need new work flats.
Yes, they’re amazing! I wore them all day in the city last week and had no problem.
Nice outfit, really nice!
It’s so fun to see a blogger here in Greenwich! I recognize that Sunglass Hut. In fact I was in there buying glasses today! 😉
It was so fun meeting you at the Greenwich Starbucks after you moved! And I have to check out those Ferragamo flats – love them!
Loved meeting you too! 🙂
Couldn’t agree more – NOTHING starts before coffee! Love those flats!
