I’ve been so lucky in making new friends since our big move back to the east coast. My friend Shelly and her husband James (both classmates of mine at Bucknell!) have been so generous in inviting us to all kinds of group gatherings and introducing us to all their friends in the area. So far we’ve done a few dinners and drinks and this weekend we met up to play paddle and have a hibachi night. I had met a few of Shelly’s girlfriends on her bachelorette party in Austin last spring and I’m so happy to be getting to know them better now that we live in the same place!

Later this week we’re all getting together to celebrate the launch of Brooke’s new blog in Katie’s beautiful boutique. I love every opportunity to celebrate other small business owners and of course any excuse to have a girls’ night out after the party! This striped ruffle top (such a steal at $99!) would be perfect for the occasion. I can’t wait to wear it with white jeans (or these fab sailor shorts) come spring and summer.
