Hallelujah! Spring has finally sprung in Connecticut and the warm weather has put such a spring in my step. We spent Saturday in the city at a birthday party for one of Will’s college friends and Sunday bringing the dogs to the park in Rowayton and watching the Masters with a bunch of new friends in Greenwich (…I use the term “watching” pretty loosely as I mostly drank rosé and played with my friends’ puppy). I had forgotten how magical springtime feels after a long winter in the northeast and I can’t wait to just soak up the sunshine for the next five months.
Speaking of sunshine, the warm weather definitely calls for a few new wardrobe investments. I have been head over heels for all of Milly’s dresses and tops and after somehow resisting all their pretty blue and white pieces over the past couple months, this bright green shirting-inspired dress is calling my name. But if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly buy, the cost-per-wear on this navy off the shoulder number will be pennies by the end of summer. Pair either one with a chic pair of suede sandals and you’re dressed for any number of occasions.
