Between his new job and 48-hour trips to weekend weddings, Will and I don’t get a ton of time to spend together just the two of us. I can’t wait for our honeymoon later this year to just have a couple weeks of uninterrupted one-on-one time! But until then, we’ve started a new little tradition of each planning one surprise date night every other month. A couple weeks ago, Will had me meet him at the clock in Grand Central one night after work and surprised me with tickets to a comedy show downtown. It’s something we used to do a fair amount when we first started dating and we both laughed so hard we had tears streaming down our faces… not bad for a Tuesday night! I need to start planning my May surprise date for Will… Let me know if this is something you guys want to hear more about on a monthly basis!
Whether you’re squeezing in time for your boyfriend/fiancé/husband or scheduling lots of girls’ nights (I try hard to do both!), you need to know about this Milly tie shoulder v-neck tank. I’ve raved about their spring collection a couple times now but I finally broke down and splurged on this pretty little bow tank and I’m so happy I did. It’s easy to throw on with jeans and heels and would be super cute with a flowy skirt this summer (I just wore this one to an event I hosted last week). The material is incredible and totally worth the price tag, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative, this and this will help you achieve a similar look.

This bow top is so adorable! Love how simple it is but that it still is flirty and fun enough for date night! xo Devon Seventeen Dresses
I love this idea! We seem to always be on the go so we sort of do the opposite to force ourselves to have a quiet night at home to enjoy one-on-one time. We try to have a standing Tuesday date night. Usually we do Taco Tuesday, but about once a month up the ante with a meat and cheese board and a little vino. Then we just settle into the couch to watch our favorite tv shows and enjoy each others’ company. I’d love to hear what you and your guy do – always looking for ideas. And that top! Gorge!
Such a cute top! I love the idea of surprise dates! I need to do that with my fiance more often!
