I can’t believe I’ve been back in Connecticut for almost four months! Time has seriously flown by with adjusting to a new work schedule, continuing to plan our wedding, and settling into our new home. I wish I could say the entire house were perfectly decorated and ready for entertaining by this point but sometimes life just gets in the way and I’m learning to be okay with that. My plan is to continue to share bits and pieces of our house (as opposed to doing one giant reveal) and today I’m sharing what’s on my bedside table!
I always love supporting small businesses, particularly when it comes to our home decor. Even after closing my own online boutique, I’ve reordered products from several of my past vendors because I just can’t live without their beautiful goods! Anne of Annechovie is one of those vendors — no one makes cuter matchboxes and I love having the ginger jar style around as decor and last minute hostess gifts. I mean can you even stand this monogrammed style or these Staffordshire dogs?!
Etsy is of course my personal mecca for unique decor finds and you’ll see several Etsy finds on my bedside table, starting with this fabulous tassel pull that I just looped around the hardware. Our Wisteria bedside tables are a very simple design so I think the tassel makes a fun statement, especially when it’s just $8.25 for three of them! You might recall me using the same trick in my last One Room Challenge.
We’re also beginning to receive wedding gifts featuring our married monogram and I get so giddy at the sight of our initials together! This monogrammed tissue box cover is just $24 and would make a perfect gift for an engagement party. I just love how it looks on my nightstand! The same shop also monograms the most stunning Italian herringbone throws — major swoon.

I’ve been looking for more blue-themed coffee table books! Which ones are on your lower shelf??
Olivia | That Gent Mark
Hi Olivia! The blue books are Kate Spade’s Things We Love, Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette, and Matthew Robbins’s Inspired Weddings. Enjoy! 🙂
Where did you get the bedside table? It is lovely.
Hi Dana! It’s from Wisteria 🙂
I love the look of your nightstand but found myself wondering if this was really how you lived with it? It seems like such a waste of space to me to designate the bottom 75% to just 7 books that may or may never get picked up! Maybe as you begin to share your new house you can post how you actually live in your house in addition to the IG-perfect photos? Either way, can’t wait to see the new place! Loving the Etsy links and definitely plan to purchase some of those cute finds.
Everything is so adorable down to the last detail! Obsessed with those matchboxes! 🙂

I love these finds! I agree that changing to your new monogram is such a silly but fun part of wedding planning!
I also have a small Etsy shop & would love for you to check it out! I sell vintage finds, including a lot of brass!

Such a pretty little corner – I could look at the photos all day! Love the colour of the lamp!
