I had so much fun this weekend at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic with Ali and Amy! I was living in Dallas the last two years and always had such FOMO over this event so I was extra happy to be able to attend with two of my best girlfriends. It was a perfect sunny day filled with fantastic people watching, free-flowing champagne, and the most extraordinary view of One World Trade Center behind the polo field. I’m already looking forward to next year!
I ordered at least half a dozen dresses the week before the event and settled on this blue and white striped dress from Tuckernuck. I love the high neck and open back and of course we all love a dress with pockets. You’d never know it’s only $120! I paired it with this Milly wicker satchel (I removed the oversized pom pom) and my go-to Soludos espadrilles, which are some of the only shoes I can happily stand in for 6+ hours!
It was fun to see so many familiar faces and catch up with Gray, Blair, Mary, Kiel, and Sarah among others! Both Blair and Gray are heading to Nantucket in the coming weeks so it was fun to share some of my favorite places with them. I can hardly wait to see the content they both create up there!
After the event we met up with my brother Grayson and Ali’s husband Patrick for drinks at Happiest Hour and dinner at Rosemary’s. Happiest Hour used to be a restaurant called Kingswood where I once called Amy to bail me out of a bad Tinder date… good times. All in all it was the perfect New York day filled with friends, laughter, and beaucoup de champagne. I so loved having Ali and Patrick on the east coast and can’t wait to spend the entire month of July with them on Nantucket!
