It’s officially freezing in Connecticut and I’ve been buying new cold weather accessories like they’re going out of style. I think last winter I wore the same hat and mittens every day for about three months, so this year I added a new cashmere beanie and a few warm scarves to the mix. And I have to introduce you to my newest shoe obsession: wedge snow boots! Sorel makes the warmest winter boots in general, but this pair is a godsend for a girl who’s 5’1″ and doesn’t find traditional snow boots particularly leg-lengthening. A way to get some height and stay warm? Say no more. (I also love the heel on this pair!)

Also I might be the last person on earth to know about the C by Bloomingdale’s cashmere collection but I’m so glad I finally got the memo. This beanie, scarf, and sweater are all super soft, super warm, and really reasonably priced for the quality. (I’d size down in the sweater as it’s pretty roomy!) I’ll be living in all three this winter (and giving a few pieces as gifts!).

My Sorels are honestly the coziest boots, ever! I have the Joan of Ark ones for our crazy IL winters!

YES! I love that pair too. Hope you’re staying warm! 🙂
Well add me to the list of those not in the know about C by Bloomingdale’s and I just stayed in a hotel across the street from the Chicago Bloomingdale’s over the Thanksgiving weekend! I was in so many times and just didn’t see it. Thanks for the heads up! xx Rox-Anne Celebrating This Life
LOVE this outfit! Quick question regarding the sweater, the one in your pictures almost looks like a dolman sleeve and a little more a-line than the one linked in the post so I just wanted to double check it was the same one before ordering since I love the fit of the one in the pictures. Thanks!
Tory, I’m so glad you caught that! I just updated the link to the correct style, which is a mock neck not a crewneck. I am so sorry for the mistake — you will love the sweater! 🙂
Those wedge snow boots are awesome!

Those boots look great on you! I love finding cold weather accessories that are still stylish! There are so many pictures of me looking like the kid brother in A Christmas Story that I finally said no more and went shopping, haha. Thanks for sharing! xAllie http://www.theallthatglittersblog@gmail.com
Hahaha I love this. It is so much harder to feel cute in the winter vs. summer!
Ah this boots are so cute!! I get so sick of wearing the same winter boots to work everyday, I might just need to pick up pair of these 🙂
