When I first opened the online boutique I ran from 2012 to 2017, I sold framed vintage silk scarves that I’d found on eBay and Etsy. I learned the hard way that they were exorbitantly expensive to ship and prone to breakage in transit, but I still love their graphic appeal all these years later. Now I’d recommend purchasing a silk scarf (or using one you already own) and having Framebridge take care of the rest, but you could also try one of these acrylic frame kits if you prefer a borderless look.
one (under $50) // two (cotton but only $5!) // three // four (more vintage Hermès scarves here) // five
six // seven ($7!) // eight (cotton but only $5!) // nine (under $60)
Here are a few inspo images if you’re considering one for your space!

I have a friend (of 22 years) that makes the most beautiful scarves. Roopa Sachidanand. Her company is Dolce Roopa. Check it out — I think they’re pretty damn frame-worthy! https://www.dolceroopa.com
Oh, I love that idea for a bedroom or a dressing room! I especially adore older Hermès scarves!
Just snatched the little puppy one from Jcrew for $5! Thank you thank you for the recommendation!
The Hermes Samourais Scarf is my dream to have framed. I especially love the bottom middle one in the picture you posted. Now into another browsing hole on ebay…
Three years ago I bought a beautiful scarf with the intention of having it framed. Three years later, it’s sitting in a box in my closet. Thanks for the reminder to get it framed! Now to find the wall space to hang it…
I completely love the idea of framing a scarf – I can’t believe I haven’t thought of that before!

I love everything about this post! I’m a freelance writer in Milwaukee—I actually did an article about making my own DIY frame so I could mount a vintage Pucci scarf. It was so hard! I wish I would have known about that acrylic option. However, I still loved how it turned out (Here’s the link if you’re interested: https://www.jsonline.com/story/life/home-garden/diy/2016/08/25/diy-custom-framing-can-save-money-if-youre-handy/88865156/
Those are beautiful! Such a good idea. I’ve been trying to figure out how to decorate my dressing room and that would be perfect.
