design darling wedding video

I was so happy when so many of you requested in the reader survey and on Instagram this weekend to see the full length feature film of our wedding weekend by Inkspot Crow. I shared our five-minute wedding video back in November and just when I thought I couldn’t love MacKenzie and Philip any more, the twenty-minute feature film version arrived in my inbox and we got to relive every little detail all over again, just in time for our six month anniversary! This version features a lot more of my dad, my sister, and Will’s dad’s toasts from the wedding and rehearsal dinner and I’m so happy we’ll have it to share with our kids someday. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

P.S. If you’re looking for more wedding inspo, be sure to check out my posts on our rehearsal dinner, our welcome party, our first look, and our ceremony and reception!

  5. This video is truly amazing- thank you so so much for sharing with us. There are so many elements of your wedding that I am hoping to “borrow” for my own, but this video is a true testament to you and Will and the life of love you two have built together. Seeing this made me appreciate my own family, especially my “Grammy,” and seeing you dance with your Grandy made me so excited to celebrate with Grammy at my wedding next year. I laughed, I cried, I was late for work- it was all just so beautiful. Congratulations on 6 married months!!!

  6. Every single thing about your wedding is #GOALS – so beautiful!!! I will certainly be using your wedding as inspiration for my own this summer — imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? 🙂

  7. Love this post, and design darling in general! I would love to see more of Will (he seems funny and you guys are cute together!) – guest posts, random insta live interviews, etc. 🙂

  8. this was oh so beautiful! Do you know the song names? I tried to “shazam” them but the clips were to quick for my phone!

  9. Mackenzie, I just finished watching your wedding video and after wiping away tears, wanted to thank you for sharing it with your “internet” friends. You and your family are beautiful and I know you and your husband will have a wonderful life together. Hope to possibly run into you someday if you ever return to the Palm Beaches!

  10. This is so beautiful! At less than 90 days until my own wedding, I geared up multiple times. So lovely.

  11. Simply Beautiful! Thank you for sharing the story of your wedding and for your lovely blog that brings me back to Nantucket even when 2,063 miles away.

  12. This video had me crying on my commute this morning! Stunning videography, stunning family. Such beautiful sentiments from your dad and Reilly. I loved seeing the “little moments” like how often Will looked at you, grinning ear to ear, while you guys were taking photos. I love following along on this new chapter for you guys and I thank you, Mackenzie, for being willing to share it with us!

  13. Beautiful! Whatever your sister does for a living – she has missed her calling as a speech writer. She was so amazing! Gave me goosebumps.

  14. Thank you SO much for sharing. Your wedding video is beautiful and tear-jerking. You inspired me to invest in a videographer for my wedding this summer. Thanks Mackenzie!

  15. I have never seen a wedding so magical and full of love from everyone in it!!! I also did not realize that you were apart of Alpha Chi Omega! Love in the bond!!!

    Thanks for sharing,

      1. I just realized that too! LITB!

P.S. I may have gone through several tissues just watching that and I don’t even know you! Such a touching video. Lots of love xo

  16. I cried and we don’t even know each other. Videographers did such an amazing job!

I think you said your veil was from Etsy but what shop? Also, it seems like you and Will had quite a few alone moments. How did you make that happen? I need those on my day and looking for schedule tips!

    1. Here is the link to my veil and in terms of scheduling, it was really a collaboration with our planner and our photographer. We did a first look before the ceremony with some photos just the two of us but most of the alone time was 15 minutes at the end of our cocktail hour, on the beach with just our photographers/videographers where we could take in the tent behind us and the fact that we’d just said I do! Highly recommend a few moments to really take it all in, even if it’s just a couple minutes here and there. xx

  17. Crying at my desk over a stranger’s wedding video is a totally appropriate #mondaymotivation activity, right? That was truly beautiful – visually stunning and so wonderfully displaying the heart, personality, and joy that you and your family seem to share. Thanks for sharing it with us!

  18. this is simply amazing, what a special day! I LOVE how the bridal parties walked in. Also, is your sister available for MOH hire?!

  19. What a beautiful video! Your sister and father, knock out speeches and both should become writers and speakers.

    Everything was magical!

  20. Just when I didn’t think a wedding video could top your five minute film (which is easily he best wedding video I’ve seen), the full length version is even more incredible. I loved getting a more intimate look at your wedding day. Also, I think your sister needs to go into motivational speaking – she’s amazing!

  21. Absolutely beautiful wedding video! Truly captured your special day and the love you have for one another! Thank you for sharing! Xo
