Happy Monday! This week I’m staring down a long list of errands before we head back to Nantucket this weekend to host eleven (!) of our friends for the Fourth of July! It will be a full house and I’m so, so excited about it. I can’t wait for a week of long days at the beach followed by late group dinners. I also just ordered this cornhole set which I am very excited to put to use. I’m practically counting down the seconds!
Will and I were there for a few days last week and snuck in several dinner dates and ice cream runs after his work conference on the island. Nantucket is still pretty quiet in mid-June and the climbing roses were just starting to come into bloom. I’m grateful to have had both a more relaxing trip with just the two of us in June and a big group visit to look forward to in July!
I wore this pink off the shoulder top to dinner at Cru one night and I love how bright and summery it is. Are you guys over the off the shoulder look or not yet? I’ve found myself picking up fewer off the shoulder styles this season (maybe because I already have so many from last year?) but I couldn’t resist the crisp poplin stripes on this one. It’s technically a crop top but thankfully it’s long enough on me (I’m 5’1″) to not show any skin. But if you’re worried about the length I’d wear it over high-waisted jeans (these are my go-tos).
P.S. Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm about my new Nantucket guide! It’s been getting a lot of love since I launched it last week and I am so happy it’s finally live. I’ve found myself referencing it often while making dinner reservations this past week!
