A STROLL THROUGH ‘SCONSET

Hello from Nantucket! Will and I came over with my brother Grayson bright and early on Saturday morning and are so excited to be here all week. I’m planning on staying out for most of the summer to overlap with various family members and I’m extra excited to be back without the stress of wedding planning all summer! A bunch of our friends arrive tomorrow so we’ve just spent the last few days soaking up time with my brothers, their friends, and Ali, Patrick, and Amy who arrived on Sunday and Monday. It’s so good to have our crew from last summer back together again!

Will and I took a Sunday morning stroll through ‘Sconset and it makes my heart so happy to see all the climbing roses in bloom! It’s amazing the difference a single week can make out here. Even the hydrangeas in our front yard are trying to make an appearance! I’ve gotten a bunch of questions since posting my Nantucket guide about the best time to visit the island in terms of when flowers will be in bloom and I think early July is best for roses and late July and early August are best for hydrangeas, but it changes a little every year!
