NANTUCKET ENTRYWAY REVEAL

I asked a couple weeks ago if you guys would be interested in more room reveals from my family’s home on Nantucket and I was happy to hear how many of you are interested in seeing more! If you’re new here be sure to check out our living room, sitting room, powder room, guest bedroom, and upstairs bathroom from last summer. I’m going to try to shoot our kitchen, dining room, and backyard before the end of the summer!

To be honest our entryway is usually a mess of car keys, flip flops, and pool passes, but my parents and I had fun giving it a refresh this week with a few pieces from Pottery Barn’s latest collaboration with designer Sarah Bartholomew (whose work I featured in this post). Sarah’s collection focuses on entryway essentials and all the rattan and wicker pieces she created feel right at home in our Nantucket entryway!

The octagonal rattan mirror makes this tiny space feel bigger and brighter and the rattan tray will be perfect for corralling the aforementioned keys and passes. The dog bed is bigger than I was expecting (perfect for 15-pound Coach and 30-pound Rory!) so we’ll probably keep it in the living room most of the time, but I’m obsessed with the striped bed and woven base. I’m also in love with the matching umbrella stand — be sure to check out the whole collection here!
