I spent yesterday afternoon interviewing my Grandy (as you know if you follow me on Instagram!) and I am so excited to share some of her responses with you all. Seriously if you have living grandparents (or parents!) please, please sit down and ask every question you can think of about their childhoods, professional lives, family lives, etc. I am so happy we did! Stay tuned for the post — maybe I can get it together in time for tomorrow if you guys are excited to see?

Switching gears, my sweet friends Beth and Danielle from the blog Palm Beach Lately sent me this pink bow shift dress from their recent collaboration with Elizabeth Wilson Designs and it is just precious! I love the ruffled neckline and the detachable bow belt. I wore it with my most worn shoes of the summer (seen on the blog here, here, here, here, and here) which are now on major sale!

  1. I asked my Grandma to write a story of her life for my son when he was born in March. She wrote over twenty pages and included a family tree. I’m so happy to have that–she’s 96!!!–especially as her daughter, my mom, passed away last year and won’t be able to answer these questions in the future.
